Bar-Box State Championships dates announced!
The dates for the 2006 Arizona State Bar-Box 10-Ball Championships and the 2006 Arizona State Bar-Box 9-Ball Championships
have now been set. Both of these Bar-Box State Championship Tournaments will be played at the home where these State
Championships originated, Alexander’s Sports Bar. Alexander’s is located at 3603 W. Dunlap Ave, in Phoenix, Arizona.
The dates for the big table State Championships are currently being decided upon.
The 2006 Arizona State Bar-Box 10-Ball Championships will be the 2nd Annual. The 2005 tournament was won by Steve Smith.
The 2006 Arizona State Bar-Box 9-Ball Championships will be the 4th Annual. Evans Bishop won in 2003, Tony Confalone won in
2004, and Mike Pankoff won in 2005.
Both 2006 events will be limited to Arizona players only and will be a $50.00 entry with four different side pots available. Both
tournaments will be non-handicapped events and both tournaments will be races to nine games on both sides of the bracket.
The dates for the 2006 Arizona State Bar-Box 10-Ball Championships is April 8th & 9th. All players must be signed up by 10am
on Saturday April 8th.
The dates for the 2006 Arizona State Bar-Box 9-Ball Championships is September 9th & 10th. All players must be signed up by
10am on Saturday September 9th.
These tournaments were scheduled on dates that do not interfere with the (10) events scheduled in the 2006 Arizona State All-
Around Championships. These two state Championships are not part of the Arizona State All-Around.
Both State Championships will have pre-scheduled matches and both State Championships will be at least $750.00 added
based on full fields. The $750.00 added prize money is up from $500.00 which was the amount added in the previous years of
these State Championships.
