The tournament will be limited to the first (16) Arizona players signed up and paid or have
guaranteed their entry. Signing up constitutes a guarantee of your entry fee. The players
meeting and first draw will take place at 11:30 pm, Saturday, November 19th. Play will
start Saturday, November 19th at midnight. Play will continue until approximately 4am.
The players that remain, when play ends that night, will return on Sunday November 20th,
at 4pm to continue play.
The format calls for a race to (8) games of bar-box ten-ball, non-handicap, no three foul
rule, winner break, single elimination, with the opportunity to buy back in the tournament
after the player’s first loss. Every player will have the opportunity to buy back in the
tournament only once.*
There will be a re-draw every round between the players that remain undefeated and
the players that have bought back in the tournament. The re-draws and play will continue
every round until only two players remain. Those two players will play in the finals with a
70/30 split of the entry fees and added money. *Once the field is narrowed to two
players, the finals will be an extended race to (10) games and the tournament will end
after that set regardless of the finals participants undefeated status or one loss status.
The added money will be $300.00. The total prize fund will be determined by the number
of players that buy back in. The entry fee is $75.00 and the one time buy back is $50.00.
The very minimum prize fund will be $1500.00 based on no buy backs. With no buy backs
the winner would receive $1050.00.
