March, 2006 marked the date of the first
edition of the new Arizona Pool Tournament
Newsletter. The goal of Bob Jackson, from
Main Street Billiards and Ron Merseal, from
Alexander's Sports Bar was to create a new
publication that concentrates on Arizona pool
activities, Arizona tournaments, and Arizona
tournament results.
This new newsletter is designed to offer the
players, in the state of Arizona, a no
nonsense, short and to the point, news
source relating to pool activities in Arizona.
The decision to publish the newsletter was
made on March 3rd, 2006, then designed,
produced, and distributed by March 8th. This
six day whirlwind has already received a ton
of positive feedback.
The first edition of the new newsletter
contains ads from major pools rooms such
as Main Street Billiards in Tucson, Main
Street Billiards in Mesa, Alexander's Sports
Bar, On The Snap Billiards in Prescott Valley,
and the APA. Within the first week of the
March edition of The Arizona Pool
Tournament Newsletter hitting the stands, at
least three prospective advertisers have
contacted the Arizona Pool Tournament
Newsletter asking to be included in the next
issue.
