Alexander's Sports Bar, already nationally known for their bar-box tournaments and quality of play second to none in the state of Arizona, has
added a 9' Diamond table to their resume. The 9' Diamond table was purchased directly off the floor of the 2006 Derby City Classic and was
set up at Alexander's by Diamond Products.
The Arizona Pool Scene interviewed Alexander's owner, Ron Merseal, about his decision to add the 9' table to Alexander's. Ron had this to
say .... "Everybody knows that Alexander's is continuously supported by a large group of high rated players. These players have made their
way to Alexander's, day after day, even though they know their table of choice.... the nine footers... are no where to be found when they get
there and they will be forced into action on the bar tables. They come anyway. That is a true reflection on the support we continued to
receive from these players. We made the decision that we had to figure out a way to get at least one 9' table on our floor to reward the loyalty
of these players. Once I figured out how to make room for a nine footer without having to remove one of our seven bar boxes, I decided I was
not only going to get that table in, but I would get the best table available on the market today for them to play on. Nowhere, in the state, is
their a better 9' table to play on than the one we have just added to Alexander's."
