Visit The BCA Pool League by Jerry Stuckart -    We have just received word that the Arizona BCA State Tournament will not be running in March as expected. Mike Howerton, who has managed the tournament for the past few years has stepped down and the National BCA is taking over the event. Bill Stock from the BCA assured me that Arizona is one of the Premier League States and the tournament is going to happen. It just will not be before the National Event in May. In addition to the Men's Open, Men's Masters, Women's Open, Women's Masters, and both Men and Women's Team events, they are looking to add a Scotch Doubles division as well. Tenative dates at this point are looked to be in August of 2009, while venues and specifics have not been nailed down yet. In most likelyhood Bad Boy Productions, who have run Texas and other States league tournament will take over the event. The tables will remain the same as previous years and all events will take place on 7' Diamond Pro-cut tables.
