| Arizona Desert Classic Tour Championship at the Mazatzal Hotel and Casino on January 9-11 |
The Tour Directors for the Arizona Desert Classic Tour, Dennis Orender and Jimmy Mendoza, are pleased to
announce the details of the Arizona Desert Classic Tour Championship. The event will be held at the Mazatzal Hotel
and Casino in Payson, Arizona, on January 9-11, 2009. This will be a minimum $5,000.00 added event, and will be
open to all players who qualified throughout the 2008 season. In order to participate, you must have played in two
regular season tour stops. As advertised at the beginning of the season, the Tour Championship will be a seeded 10-
ball tourney, on 7’ Diamond Tables ($1 per game). The entry fee for the event will be $40.00, if received by January
2, 2009. After this date, the standard entry of $50.00 will apply. Please make money orders payable to the Arizona
Desert Classic Tour and mail to Arizona Desert Classic Tour (c/o Dennis Orender), PO Box 93091, Phoenix, Arizona
85070-3091. Mail in entry fees must be received by January 2, 2009. We will take sign ups right up until the day of
the tourney, and you may sign up at the casino on the day of the tournament, between 12-2:30 pm. The tournament
draw and play will begin immediately after the deadline at 2:30 pm on January 9, 2009. No phone in entries will be
accepted. The standard dress code of collared shirts and no open toe shoes will be enforced.
All members/spectators will receive a discount room rate from the Mazatzal Hotel and Casino, if booked by December
27, 2008. Just mention “Arizona Desert Classic Tour” and you will receive a discount rate for your reservation. After
this date, the standard rate will apply. Rooms are limited; therefore, please plan in advance and book your rooms as
