Scotch Doubles 9 Ball Tournament.
Eighty players signed up for the tournament on March 29th - 30th.
This was a (2) Day Event (Sat-Sun). This tournament had a entry fee of
$30.00 ($20.00 early entry), and a $10.00-$20.00 and $30.00 winner take
all side pot. Texas Express Rules with no 3 foul rule. Maximum
Arizona Rating of 16 with a race to your total rating minus 6 games.

Rabatin & Flora Win Scotch Doubles Tournament At Metro Sportz Bar
The winner take all $30.00 side pot had 28 entries - which equaled a payout of $840.00 to the winner. The
$10.00 side pot had 34 entries = $340.00. The $20.00 side pot had 33 entries = $660.00. The entries paid =
$970.00. Metro added another $500.00 (Guaranteed). Total payout was $3310.00 with sides.
The event started at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and finished at 3:30 a.m. we were down to 8 teams at this time
with 16 players returning on Sunday at 12:00 noon - All in the Money.
The undefeated winners of this event were Jim Rabatin and Jason Flora. A first round bye then 6
impressive wins in a row. WOW -- $1745.00 to these two young men, which included side pots.
Our Thanks to Metro for hosting this event and adding the $500.00 Guaranteed Money - Also the
excellent service by both the bar and kitchen personnel. The Kitchen special of Spaghetti and Italian
Sausage was terrific.

personally as Tournament Director would like to thank all of the players and the Metro staff for their
participation at this successful event.
