Chuck Bobbitt, owner of Visual Impressions, has teamed up with Alexander's Sports Bar in a combined effort to bring to Arizona
yet another pool event unlike any we have seen in the recent past. The tentative format for "The 2006 Arizona Desert Dust-Off"
calls for the event to take place at Alexander's Sports Bar over 2-1/2 days starting on Friday February 17th at 7pm. The
tournament will be open to any and all players. You do not have to be an Arizona resident to participate. This tournament is not
part of the very successful Arizona State All-Around. This tournament was designed to offer the players in Arizona, and beyond,
yet another huge pool event to participate in. The 2006 Dust Off will be at least $2000.00 added and will be a 10-Ball, double
elimination tournament, played on Valley bar tables. The early entry fee will be $60.00 or $75.00 the first day of the event. Over
and above the entry fees there will be side pots available to the players along with the $2000.00 added from Visual Impressions
and Alexander's. Make absolutely sure you catch the January 2006 edition of the Arizona Billiards News for the entire format and
specifics. Those specifics will also be posted here at www.azpoolscene.com. as they become available.
Visual Impressions is a printing company that specializes in any type of printing, including screen printing and embroidery of
apparel. Chuck Bobbitt is the owner of that company and is a seven rated player on the Arizona Ratings List. Chuck plays pool
basically seven days a week and obviously is very dedicated to pool here in the state of Arizona. Anyone interested in using
Visual Impressions for their printing needs can reach Chuck at 602-390-1733. Alexander's, located at 3603 West Dunlap,
Phoenix, Arizona, is owned and operated by Ron Merseal who can be reached at 602-750-0044.
