On Tuesday night, April 10th, 2007, my good and very best
friend and co-worker, Bull Vankerkwyk lost his father to
heart related problems. Gary Vankerkwyk was an avid
golfer and made his way to Alexanders on more than one
occasion. Gary played in last years Alexander's golf & pool
outing and also was at Alexanders, last July, for Bull's
birthday bash. It's not often we get to meet the parents of
our pool playing side kicks, but in this particular case, we
did. And who we met was one of the nicest people I have
ever had the pleasure to be around. I and we want to
express our most sincere sympathies to Bull, Bulls step
mother Ann, and the rest of Bull's family. Bull's dad Gary is
