The second and deciding leg of the 2007 North vs. South Cactus Cup Challenge was played at
Main Street Billiards in Tucson on March 11th. The North squad went into the second leg with
an 8-2 lead. In Tucson, the North captured only 4 of the 12 points but it was enough to win the
2007 Cup 12 total points to 10 total points. Jodie Villegas, one of the North's six rated players,
was selected as the 2007 Cactus Cup M.V.P. Jodie won both her singles matches over the two
week challenge and also won the six rated players scotch match in Tucson for a 3-0 record in
the 2007 Challenge.
