Jimmy Mendoza has snapped off leg number eight of
the 2005 Arizona State All-Around. This tournament
was a big table 9-ball event held at Kolby's. There were
25 players on hand even thought the tournament was
added to the tour only a couple of weeks ago. Jimmy
defeated Mike Pankoff in a one race final that was
extended to (11) games. The score of the final match
was Jimmy (11) and Mike (6). Congratulations to Jimmy
Mendoza on his win. After leg #8, with only two
tournaments to play in the 2005 all-around, Terry
Osborne holds the overall lead with Mike Pankoff now in
second place on the points list.
