AWBT Mission Statement

The "AWBT" is a Non-Profit Corporation sanctioned by the "Women's Professional
Billiard Tour" as a regional tour. Developed in September 1998 it's goal then was
to obtain more qualifiers in the state of Arizona so our aspiring professionals
would have the opportunity to play in large events close to home.
In a short time our mission and goals for the tour evolved. The "AWBT" realized
that all players serious and casual needed an outlet to showcase their talents.
New players on the scene required support and knowledge from the more
experienced players. The more practiced players could become inspired by the
up and coming to stay competitive. The "AWBT" created a points system so
players of all levels could benefit from participation in the events. We will be
distributing points monies to all that participate in more than half of the events.
Of course, the more events a member participates in, the more points they
accumulate. A Mission Statement was formulated to outline the goals of the
"AWBT".
Mission Statement of the "Arizona Women's Billiard Tour"
The Arizona Women's Billiard Tour is dedicated to organizing the women of this
state to be a force in the sport of billiards. We will endeavor to show the nation
and the world that Arizona is a great state for professionalism in women's pool.
We pledge to be an inspiration to all players, whether seasoned or new. We will
support all players and enhance their desire to play to the level of their own
aspirations. We will devote ourselves to the promotion of women in billiards.
